Reed Rivers founded Freight Flex in 2020 and serves as president and chief executive officer.
Before starting the company, he spent a decade in global logistics, first at Expeditors from 2013 to 2017 as a district sales executive and global sales executive, then at Crane Worldwide Logistics from 2017 to 2020 as a global account executive. That experience serving high pressure international forwarding customers shaped the standard Freight Flex was built on.
Under his leadership the company has grown into a licensed nationwide brokerage serving shippers across the US, Mexico and Canada, earning the No. 40 spot on the 2025 Inc. 5000 and returning at No. 204 in 2026. The standard never changed.
Reed is a graduate of Texas A&M University and leads the company from its Denton, Texas headquarters.
